This website, and this project as it has existed for the past 15 years, will unfortunately be shut down in the end of April 2026.

(Reasons: technological ones - Java on the desktop is gradually disappearing, Google Android is removing sideloading, but also human ones - it is becoming increasingly difficult to properly protect against advanced attacks that could seriously target users, and governements are fighting unregulated pornography with more efficiency)

The domain name and the server will be shut down, and all data stored on the website will be deleted, along with its backups. Both softwares may continue to function, except for scripts (approximately 20%) that communicated with the server (send/receive API). The source code will likely remain available on GitLab for some time.

For these final weeks, the forums will remain open to anyone who wishes to discuss forks and alternatives (we will try to regularly clean up spam).

There have been some great contribution from script writers across the years, so I thank them too.

Sad to see the project go, but I understand the situation. A huge thank you to you and all the contributors.

Would you consider posting a "master dump" of the scripts on a service like mega.io? It would be a great way to preserve the community's history and would probably save your server from a lot of last-minute traffic.

Yes it is a real shame, and such bad timing. I can only guess the troubles you must have experienced, from operating my sites JiC ( https://play-link.com/jennifer.html ) and Clan ( https://play-clan.site ). It unfortunately appears to be a battle against governments that have a bigoted agenda instead of actually protecting those who are being abused by the bad side of the adult industry or financial safeguards. Just frustrates me that those of us doing our best to stay legal are the ones being victimised.

At play-link we are currently working on a major upgrade to JiC (Version 5), so this really could not have hit at a worse time, with all our developers focused on that. However, in about six months we hope to develop an online system of creating and running scripts that unlike JiC does not require you to be logged in or store any of your data on the server so may ease the pain of sexscripts for some of you, even if it may be a long wait I will conversation space on Clan ( https://play-clan.site under the name AdultScripts ) more as a holding space for now but may be good place for people to discuss what will be possible going forwards. But as said this will be a while before anything will actually happen.

And lastly and most importantly! A big thank you for Doti. I would have not got started with doing scripts in here if it was not for your patience in answering stupid questions and developing new features. I hope you find life treats you well having a break and you find a new kinky outlet.

Thats terrible news, understandable, but still terrible! I have been a member, user and contributor since 2013 and I'm still using SexScript form time to time. And even before SexScript i used CyberMistress (only us old farts who remembers that one LOL) So it's really sad news to see SS disappear.

I wonder if there's a way to keep using the scripts anyway? hmmm..? I understand the program will work, for now.. But eventually it will stop working without updates. I wish there was a way to port the script to a new platform, like I did with a few scripts from CyberMistress. I think Mandys blackmail was one of the more successful scripts that i ported onto SS.

That said, I am VERY GRATEFUL to everyone involved, Especially @Doti who has worked hard to keep it alive for so many years. We never meet, but it still feels like some users here are my friends.

And i was already planning on new scripts... Well to be honest it was a struggle working with and it felt like outdated.. But its still one of a kind.

I hope someone will come up with a new system. I especially enjoyed that you could have a script connect online and this way make it multiplayer or exposure focussed. That was really fun.

But well I totally get you. Time to move on.
