I'm getting an error I've not seen before while trying to upload some updates to my scripts: a java error that states "insufficient storage space". Is this a program error, a script error or a website/server error? I don't think it's a script error since I got this error from several unrelated scripts while trying to upload them today. It seems to be a PHP error from scripts.php, line 52: ftp_put() |

Today, I tried to upload a new version of DisciplinePack. I waited for about 20 minutes, but nothing seems to happen....?? It did create a new zip file in my Published folder. Maybe it became to big? Zip file size is 54Mb. I didn't realize it became that big after I looked for what could have happened. What is the max file size for uploading? Should I split the Pack in two or more parts? Or was I just impatient and had to wait longer? |

I think the current limits are :
50Mb may be ok if you have a very good connection (for example ADSL2 is 1440kbps up, i.e. 4:30 minutes). Splitting will work. You can try also reducing the compression quality of your jpeg (80% quality is about 80kb for 800*560px) |

Thanks for your answer. I have split it in three parts. The first went okay. The second I get: Error java.lang.Exception: Perhaps error publishing: <b>[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice</b>: in file <b> /scripts.php</b>52</b>:<b>ftp_put(): Requested action not taken. Insufficient storage space in system.</b><br/> This one, the second one, is about 18Mb, as I see it in my Published folder... Don't know and understand what's going wrong.... By the way, I have fiber optic internet connection, don't know what the speed connection is but presume it's by far fast enough. |

Finally got the time today to try uploading again. One big file didn't work. Didn't get any responds message from the server. Just to be sure, split the pack in in three parts. Uploading goes fast, less then a minute for each pack. Glad it's uploaded on the server now! |

Still not working - shame the update that has messed it up was a 1 line change  .... Wonder if should have a way in the future that it does not overwrite previous version with an empty file if the upload fails?
